Kentville Dental Center believes preventive care and education are essential to your overall dental health. We place an emphasis on thorough oral examinations and understand the importance of routine cleanings, flossing, sealants and fluoride in preventing decay and dental disease. We want you to have a beautiful smile, but also a healthy one. A review of your medical history helps us stay informed of any issues that could affect your dental health.

Kentville Dental Center's Doctors Use the Latest in Technology

Dr. Corey MacGregor - Dentist / Owner

Dr. Corey MacGregor was born and raised in the Kentville and New Minas area. He attended the University of New Brunswick for his undergraduate degree, graduating with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biology and minoring in Psychology. He then obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhousie University in 2014. In August of that year, he started working at Kentvillle Dental Center and transitionned to being owner of the practice in the summer of 2019. 

Dr. Corey MacGregor

Dr. MacGregor is a member of the Annapolis Valley Dental Society, Nova Scotia Dental Association and Canadian Dental Association. He is interested in all aspects of dentistry including fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, root canals, extractions and cosmetic dentistry. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys golf, hockey, snowboarding and spending time with his wife, 2 daughters and dog. He is very happy to be back in the Valley and looks forward to many years here.

Dr. David Ingham - Dentist

Dr. David Ingham was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He attended Dalhousie University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Biology. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating in 1990 from Dalhousie. Dr. Ingham went into private practice in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and worked in both clinical and hospital settings. He was an assisting dentist in the departments of Oral Surgery and Paediatric Dentistry at the Janeway Hospital in St. John's.

Upon returning to Nova Scotia, Dr. Ingham worked as an associate dentist in Halifax and as a clinical instructor in the department of Paediatric Dentistry at Dalhousie University. For the last 15 years, Dr. Ingham has been practicing general family dentistry in the Annapolis Valley.

 

Dr. Ingham is a member of the Annapolis Valley Dental Society, the Nova Scotia Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association. He is married with two sons and his interests outside of dentistry include golfing, running, downhill skiing and coaching minor basketball.

Linda

Linda is a Board Certified Dental Assistant. She is a member of the NSDAA and CDAA, and has been employed with Kentville Dental Center since 1991. A graduate of Northern Alberta Institute, Linda has her dental auxiliary certificate in orthodontics and training in CEREC® integration from Great Lakes Education Center. Linda also holds the position of Office Manager.

Sonya

Sonya is a Board Certified Dental Assistant since 1996 with certification from NSCC. She is a member of the NSDAA and CDAA. Sonya has completed training in CEREC integration from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Great Lakes Education Center and Scottsdale Center for Dentistry in Arizona. Sonya enjoys spending time with her three sons.

Amber

Amber is a Board Certified Dental Assistant since 2007 with a certificate from the Nova Scotia Institute of Technology. She is a member of the Nova Scotia and Canadian Dental Assistant associations. She has attended the academic in-office consultation for neuromuscular occlusion from the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. She also has training in treating sleep breathing disorders and sleep apnea.

Sherry

Sherry is a Registered Dental Hygienist who joined us in 1985. She has her dental auxiliary certificate in orthodontics and training in CEREC Integration from the Great Lakes Education Center. In 1995, she left to pursue a career as a fitness trainer and returned in 2001. She enjoys teaching Nia and spinning classes. She is a Harley Davidson enthusiast who loves spending time with her husband and 3 dogs.

Tasha

Tasha is a Registered Dental Hygienist who graduated from Dalhousie University in 2010. She joined the team in 2000 as a Registered Dental Assistant. She has training in CEREC Integration from the Great Lakes Education Center. Tasha loves spending time with her children.

Amelie

Amelie is a Registered Dental Hygienist who graduated in 2001 from Edouard-Montpetit College in Montreal. She has worked in various offices in Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, and she joined our team in 2014. Amelie is fluent in English and French. She divides her time between being a dental hygienist and an administrative assistant. In her free time, Amelie enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, five cats and many ducks.
